A sexy and heartwarming tale…This is a lovely cosy romance about a woman escaping an extremely toxic relationship only to find love again with a decent man.” Amazon five-star review

She has no idea what to do with her life next, but meeting a very hot man and experiencing some even hotter sex has to be better than the life she left behind.
Finding her future isn’t easy, but with the help of her new friends Sally stands up to her past in England and begins to have hope for the future. But will that future include a happy ending?

Best Book Editors Review

My first time reading this author and I wasn’t disappointed. Brilliant, escapism.  Though the main character’s life hasn’t always been sweet. And escape she did—to a better place.

This is an uplifting story about making a better life. The storytelling shines as the author creates a relatable character who struggles inside herself. Leaving an old life of betrayal to open a new chapter is a brave thing to do. The rich descriptions will be relatable to anyone who has moved their world.

Initially, Sally is desperate for friendship and acceptance. She puts herself out to cook for a group of construction workers. She realises it’s hostess overkill, but she finds it hard to accept that people like her. She realises that they do —and that one man in particular finds her intriguing—it’s a great, sexy, read.

Sally won’t accept an unfulfilling life. Taylor’s characters are realistic and well-developed. The gentle pacing makes Sally’s finding love, a feel-good read. The story will appeal to anyone looking for optimism and personal transformation, leaving readers inspired by the compassionate writing style.

A bit of romance for those cold winter nights … and later for warm balmy evenings.

About Ruth Taylor

I never know what to put when asked to talk about me, when I try to put into words what I’m like, I sound boring. I’m a middle-aged woman who likes to read, write and walk her dog, I can write wonderful things about others, I can make up brilliant characters in my head and tell people about them, but when it comes to trying to make myself sound awesome, I fail.
